This is the latest in a series of webinars focusing on chronic disease management in Family Care Teams. Previous topics in this recurring area include digital screening and assessment tools for chronic disease, and diabetes treatment pathways.
The goal of this webinar is to build awareness of diabetes management services available in Newfoundland & Labrador and enhance capacity for Family Care Teams to manage diabetes cases.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Centre on Substance Use (NLCSU) is dedicated to advancing education, knowledge sharing, and harm reduction in substance use health. We work closely with people with lived and living experience, community partners, and health care providers to support evidence informed care for people who use substances. Our work includes training, mentorship, and initiatives such as Project ECHO NL: Substance Use. Please see the attached NLCSU one pager for additional context.
Project ECHO NL: Substance Use is a virtual, case-based learning community focused on advancing care and treatment for people who use substances.
Sessions are open to: Peer support workers, social workers, addictions counsellors, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physicians, other health professionals, and students. While based in NL, participation is open to providers and learners from across Canada and internationally.
